Stránský: The CNB's courage to accept bitcoin will bring wealth to the Czech Republic

CNB Governor Ales Michl is considering including bitcoin in the central bank's reserves, which could put the Czech Republic among the world's richest countries, according to Martin Stránský of Bit.plus. The move would not only further legitimise cryptocurrencies as an investment asset, but could also bring the country significant profits.

"The most positive thing for the Czech crypto market, and in my opinion for the Czech Republic as a whole, is the intention of CNB Governor Ales Michl to include bitcoin in the central bank's reserves. This is a great opportunity to make the Czech Republic one of the richest countries in the world. It is right to be brave and go against the tide," said Stránský.
